DIANA MIAN born in Cormons (Italy) she is studying with Mariella Devia.

Prize winner of several national and international competitions such as Città di Brescia in Brescia, Voci Liriche Rosetum in Milano, As.Li.Co Milan, Giovan Battista Velluti in Riviera del Brenta (Italy), Iris Adami Corradetti in Padova and Giuseppe Di Stefano in Trapani (Italy).

She made her operatic debut as Juliette in Roméo et Juliette at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Further she sang Zerlina in Don Giovanni at the Olympic Theatre in Vicenza, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and Serpina in La serva padrona with As.Li.Co. in Milan, Carolina in Il matrimonio segreto in Ankara, Izmir, Istanbul and Prague; Mimi in La Bohème at the Bolshoi Theatre in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Teatro Verdi in Sassari and in Lecco; Serafina in Il Campanello, Norina in Don Pasquale and Adina in L’Elisir D’Amore at Teatro Donizetti Bergamo and in Tokyo, Elvira in Ernani by G. Verdi in Pordenone (Italy) and Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro at Palau de Les Arts in Valencia (Spain) and at the Teatro Regio Turin.

Recently she has debuted as Lucieta in Il Campiello at the Teatro Malibran Venice, Teatro Sociale Rovigo, Maggio Musicale Florence, Bettly in Le Chalet and Fatima in Ricciardo e Zoraide at the Rossini in Wildbad Festival, Mimì in La Bohème in Uzbekistan, Hanna Glawari in Lehar’s Die lustige Witwe in Porcia (Italy) and as Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at the Teatro Giovanni in Udine (Italy). She has also debuted as Fiordiligi in Così Fan Tutte at the Teatro Donizetti Bergamo, as well as Anna Kennedy in Maria Stuarda at the theatres Donizetti in Bergamo, Sociale in Rovigo , Comunale in Florence and Filarmonico in Verona.

In addition to her operatic activities she has a broad concert repertoire including Exultate Jubilate, Vesperae Solemnes and Requiem by W. A. Mozart, Stabat Mater by F.J. Haydn, Gloria, Dixit Dominus and Lauda Jerusalem by A. Vivaldi, A Midsummer Night’s Dream by F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Carmina Burana by C. Orff, Resurrection of Christ by L. Perosi as well as Misa Criolla by A. Ramirez.

Together with the Trio di Trieste and Michael Flaksman she won the 1st prize and the special prize at the chamber music festival «Youth for Youth» in Ravenna and the 1st prize at the «Lilian Caraian» contest in Trieste.

Future operatic engagements include Second Maid in Die Zauberflöte at the Teatro Comunale Bologna.
