Giuseppina Samogin – Soprano
Giuseppina Samogin, Conegliano’s singer, for many years component and solo soprano of Vocal Ensemble Città di Conegliano directed by Maestro Laura Fabbro. She attended several seminars and courses on vocalism held by Maestro Luciano Borin, local composer and teacher. She had her first voice training with Maestro Elvira Cadorin at Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Institute of Conegliano.
She then continued her studies with distinction at the same school, studying with soprano Giovanna Donadini. She attended a course in scenic art directed by theater director Giacomo Gamba.
Since 2004, she has been regularly singing with Vocal Ensemble Città di Conegliano directed by Maestro Laura Fabbro, with the role of section leader and principal soloist. She has performed as a soloist on several recitals: Glory of 589 RV of Vivaldi under Maestro Roberto Padoin and Maestro Laura Fabbro, Missa Brevis KV 259 of W.A.Mozart, arias by F. Mendelssohn under Maestro Fausto Fradeletto, in the Missa Brevis KV 65 and other pieces by Mozart directed by Maestro Alberto Pollesel, in Dixit RV 594 by A. Vivaldi directed by Mo Yuri Bashmet.
She also starred in the concert for the Institute Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli of Conegliano, arias from “Don Giovanni”, “The Magic Flute” by Mozart, from “Tosca” by Puccini and “The Merry Widow by F. Lehar . He played the Countess Almaviva in a selection of “Le nozze di Figaro” by W.A.Mozart. She was one among the protagonists of the play-opera spectacle “Naufragar me Dolce” created and directed by G.Gamba.
She will take parts at set up of the opera “Dido and Aeneas” by H.Purcell that will go on stage in February 2017 at the Theatre Academy of Conegliano, playing the role of the second woman with the direction of Maestro A. Pollesel and directed by G.Gamba.
She performs concerts with the Insieme Vocale City of Conegliano, where, as a soloist, plays pieces of music, mainly sacred, various classical and contemporary authors.
